Driving Votes Benefit

August 17th, 7:30 PM

The Tractor Tavern in Ballard

Details at: www.drivingvotes.org/dvrv

Special guests include:

* Rep. Jim McDermott - U.S. Congressman featured in Fahrenheit 9/11.
* Christine Gregoire – WA Attorney General
* Eric Liu - Former Clinton speech writer
* Hell’s Belles – An all female AC/DC cover band. They literally rock the vote.

This event is the kickoff party for a historic road trip for democracy. Driving Votes is sending two RVs packed with volunteers through five swing states all the way to Florida to register thousands of voters. People from all over the country are going to meet up with us in each swing state. We’re going to have one of our RVs parked outside the Tractor for the event. Heck, we even have one of the stars of MTV’s Road Rules, Yes Duffy, coming on the trip—it’s like a reality TV show for a good cause J

Please join us for this amazing event. Tickets to the event can be purchased with a donation of $40 or more through our website at www.drivingvotes.org/dvrv or by donating at the door. I know $40 is an expensive cover, but your donation will have a huge impact on the election. Every $40 we raise allows us to register 20 new swing state voters. All proceeds from this event go to getting Bush out of office. I hope to see you there!

Please forward this to your friends who would be interested in supporting Driving Votes.

All the best,

Matt

About Driving Votes: Driving Votes has grown to over 250 volunteers nationwide in 20 states. We were recently endorsed by Michael Moore, featured on the front page of the SF Chronicle, Seattle PI, NPR, Wired.com, etc. Almost 1000 people have used our website to plan swing state trips. Most importantly, we’ve registered thousands and thousands of Democratic voters in the states that matter most. Go to www.drivingvotes.org to learn more.
