Oh my god - Ticketmaster sucks even more

They charged me $14 in handling and shipping fees for my $24 tickets - and then they email me telling me I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD AND PRINT THE TICKETS MYSELF. What mother f***ers. Is this legal? Shouldn't I be entitled to a refund for my shipping and handling fees? They call this convenient?

Yeah, I ran into this the other day. Was going to see the love of my life - Sting, but decided not to because of the extra fees. But apparently if you go in-person, between 10-2PM on Saturday, you can get around the fees. &*$@#*

tm canada is shutting down operations in toronto. to save a buck. the only unionized location. phone room staff are getting the boot. people who have worked there 10, 15 years are getting shit for severnce because they are working part time or are in school during the shut down. ticketbastard is just that a bastard company who has a monopoly on the ticket world. they fuck the public and screw their employees. i say don't buy tickets through them. go to the venue. open another agency that wants entertainment for all! they are a cheap company who's only mission is to treat employees as slaves and the public as idiots.

Ticketmaster must be stopped. It took four customer service agents, three days and at least two hours on hold to get one pair of tickets to me.

Each time they answer the phone, these idiots ask, "How can I give you excellent service?" The answer is: Cut Barry Diller's (CEO of Ticketmaster) nuts off, saute them in rabid dog's blood, top them with bloated ticks and force feed them to anyone who works for that insane system.

By the way, their private Customer Service number is: 1-888-736-2427. It gets you straight to a human in Customer Service. Call them up and have some fun!

I just want to add my rant. Ticketmaster sucks is right! I purchased tickets about a month ago for my daughter. I opted for the regular mail option, which cost me about $6.00??? Then they never showed up! I called the night before the concert and they charged me another $2.50 to print them cause she didn't have a "valid id". (Watch what you think a valid id and what they think a valid id is) Anyway, I downloaded the tickets and could see them clearly. Adobe sucks too but that's another issue. I printed the tickets and they came out all crazy with exclaimation points and number signs etc... It took me at least 10 tries, all that paper and I finally got the tickets one hour before the concert. Now...my son ordered tickets to print for a concert on the 8th of August. It would have cost 18.00 to mail them. What are they made of? Gold? So we opt to print them. Will they print? Noooooooo....first one comes out fine second one is all nonsense. OMG I hate ticketmaster! I email and am told 'no customer service rep will respond to this mail' they say to click the link and go to 'ask a question' at the top left side, does it have an ask a question link? Nope, not on the left right or anywhere...I call, they tell me he can pick them up...yada yada ya.....But will they reimburse me for all the paper I've wasted trying to print the tickets? Noooooo. I call corporate headquarters, do they answer? Nooooo, it's another customer service provider not at headquaters. TICKETMASTER SUCKS!

Well, I must agree, with the aforementioned comments on the ineptness and deceitful corporate ways of ticketmaster.
My situation and complaint is different, in that myself and two other moms, have been trying all week to secure tickets to Hannah Montana concert in Atlanta. We even went as far as to join the hannah fan club as ticketmaster promoted this, as a way to get in on the presale. Of course, joining Hannahs fan club cost $30.00 and to our dissapointment could not get tickets on presale basis as they claimed they were sold out. Of course no offers to give us our $30.00 bucks back. We all get primed for the go on sale date of 9/15/07. Two moms head to ticketmaster retailer at Publix and get in line and I stay at the computer to buy online. Believe it or not, no one gets tickets except the first two persons in line at the publix outlet. All others are told that the tickets sold out in the presale.
I feel very sorry for the thousands of little girls who have been very dissapointed. The crooks at ticketmaster, have mislead thousands of fans and their own website states that their promise is to provide convenient and fair access to concerts. Yea right. There is nothing fair about this and the way they go about issueing tickets in large blocks to scalpers and when the date for tickets to go on sale arrives and you show up and stand in line and there was not any tickets available to buy is criminal, unethical and misleading.
I will also be writing a letter to the CEO of ticketmaster and to Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus agent to complain.
I think everyone should start protesting ticketmaster, as we need to change the way the monoploy is set up.

Adding onto above. We experienced the same thing here in FLorida. It is criminal that ticketmaset is allowed to operate this way. Literally, no one was able to buy tickets (even with fan club codes they paid $30 for) to Hannah Montana on Saturday (9/15) because ticketmaster sold all the tickets to the brokers. Isn't it amazing that there were no tickets for anyone to buy at retail locations, on-line or the 800 number, but thousands of tickets are available if your willing to shell out at least $100 per ticket to a broker for a childs conert. One complaint has already been filed with the BBB against the Hannah Montana Fan Club. The BBB took the complaint and advised to file against ticketmaset as well if you feel compelled to do so. Disney, Ticketmaster and possibly the venues themselves are all profiting from this and we should all let our voices be heard. Contact the BBB in your area, ticketmaster and Disney. We are here in Florida and proud of it!

I charge a flat fee of $2.00 + 1.9% of the value of the ticket on every ticket sold exclusively through the system - that way we can avoid crazy convinence charges. It costs the venue NOTHING to use my service. This tickemaster monopoly is getting stupid.

I started my website because i do coordinate my own events and used ticketmaster to sell tickets to them. Do you know that ticketmaster charged me too? For a $10.00 ticket the customer had a $4.25 service charge and I had a $2.30 service charge as well. They were practically making more money than I was AND they took a non-refundable deposit for me to even use their service of $15,000.00. Because of this i started www.ticketmuncher.com and have been receiving a ton of fallout from unhappy ticketmaster clients and customers. If anyone has any suggestions for my system let me know! I'm all about customizing the system to meet customers suggestions and requests.

Dan Gargano is a hack. I worked for their parent company, also owned by Dan. Audible Spectrum, the parent company, went south due to Dan's lies and inability to run a company. He owes me over $1000 alone, plus other people. He does not pay the promoters, and I am almost sure many of the events on there are fakes and the money does not go to that show promoter. Do not use ticketmuncher.

This is one of several comments I've read online about problems getting tickets not just from Ticketmaster, but Miley cyrus tickets just in general. All I can imagine is that there is a huge demand out there from kids who want to go to her concerts, and somehow the unbelievable demand has made things difficult for a ton of people.

The Warren County Prosecutor's Office reported Daniel P. Gargano, 21, of the 100 Block of Riverside Gardens in Hackettstown, plead guilty in Superior Court on Friday, June 20, to one count of manufacturing marijuana, a third degree offense, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, a disorderly persons offense.

The Warren County Prosecutor's Office reported -- the guilty plea follows Gargano's arrest on charges resulting from a police search of his apartment on March 11.

Hackettstown Police Department was notified by employees of the Hackettstown Landlord Registration Bureau of a possible indoor marijuana growing facility, which was discovered during a routine scheduled inspection of Riverside Garden Apartments.

Hackettstown Police Department and the Warren County Prosecutors Office Narcotics Task Force issued a search warrant and found Gargano to be in possession of manufacturing paraphernalia and marijuana in his apartment.

The matter was handled by Assistant Prosecutor Tara J. Kirkendall on behalf of the state. Thomas P. Fischer, Esq. represented the defendant. According to the Warren County Prosecutors Office, the plea agreement calls for Gargano to be exposed to 364 days in county jail as a condition of probation on the third degree offense and 180 days in county jail concurrent with the disorderly persons offense. Other conditions of the probation include a substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment and forfeiture of all the seized manufacturing paraphernalia.

Without the benefit of a plea agreement, the defendant is exposed to up to five years in New Jersey State Prison for a third degree offense and up to 180 days in prison for a disorderly persons offense. Gargano was released on bail pending sentencing.

I responded to a craigslist ad a few months back to promote one of his products called Publicity Database. It's supposed to be this huge list of publicity contacts. He had a pretty generous commission plan. After chatting with him online I started to develop a plan to market this product. I had 2 buyers lined up and all of a sudden his website was down. I couldn't get a hold of him. Not with email or phone. He's online right now and not responding to my IM's.
