LinkedIn Won't Delete My Profile

I recently closed my LinkedIn account and have not been able to get them to delete my public profile. It's been more than a week and I've sent four requests.

LinkedIn seems like a service that everyone wants to be connected to but I just don't use it at all. It's more vanity than function...so I finally just decided to opt out.

Update: Apparently, LinkedIn does this to other folks as well.

The only thing I have understood is when signing in there are no terms and conditions page that I had to click agree. Which is funny. So before confirming my mail ID i changed all my personal information to something else. Something really stupid. That seems to be the only way.

Ya I agree that LinkedIn is just a show off affair and nothing worth. In addition, I will recommend people not to disclose their personal information and to be careful with their data and photos which some are just spreading without even thinking of their privacy at all

After reading some feedback about LinkedIn, I decided I wanted to remove my info too. Like others, I saw no way to remove it so I just changed my name and created a spam bucket e-mail address in the profile.
