Punking Starbucks Free Coffee for Voting Campaign

Update: Post was linked by Crosscut, Seattlest and StumbleUpon. Starbucks has now taken down the video, photo and wall features which were being abused. The Starbuck's "Corporate Whore" logo was only up for a short time.

This is probably a textbook example of how a corporation should not set up a Facebook event without monitoring the event page.

Facebook users have punk'd Starbuck's event page with images promoting fair trade, anti-Starbucks logos and videos for unionizing Starbucks' employees and a trailer for Black Gold, about the corporate coffee trade.

216,000+ people have seen the page while registering for the event.
